The VersaWave reads samples in milliseconds and measures volumes starting at 0.6µl. This instrument can also be used as a traditional spectrophotometer. Next to all of the above options, the VersaWave can be operated from a distance, as well as for online realtime sampling. The VersaWave with the VersaTip accessory does not use the sample, which can be used after measurement.

Independent of solution surface tension Proteins are surface active in their own right and are often formulated with other surface active ingredients such as detergents.
Variable surface tension is a prob-lem for common stretched-drop spectrophotometers and leads to poor accuracy and large variability.
Measurements with VersaTip are not affected by the surface tension of the solution and provide the highest accuracy and reproducibility irrespective of the composition of your sample analysis or protein solubility
