Does the equipment come with a guarantee or warranty?

If you are not 100% satisfied with your equipment on delivery we promise to either resolve the problem or give you a refund. In the unlikely event that the equipment you purchased from Akribis Scientific Ltd develops a problem within 14 days of delivery, we promise to resolve the problem.

Is the equipment new?

We source our equipment from a wide range of sources, some of it is old stock and may be boxed and brand new, other equipment is refurbished or reconditioned, but all equipment is accurately described in our advertising and if it is in good working or excellent order we say so.  If we know of any faults, we say these too. The description of the item you are interested in will give this information.

Does the price include VAT?

All the listed prices of the equipment on this website exclude VAT.  VAT will be added as per the amount levied by the UK government.  Overseas sales will not necessarily incur VAT providing you can prove that you are exempt.

Does the price include delivery or postage?

The price of the item does not include postage and packing, especially as we deliver worldwide and are unable to give an accurate price for postage.  We have a very good contacts in the logistics industry and our crating costs are very reasonable.  Simply contact us and we will work with you to ensure fast and efficient delivery at a very competitive rate.

How long will it take to deliver my order?

We try to dispatch all orders within 3 working days, more often than not they are dispatched the next working day. From the moment of purchase we will keep you informed about your orders progress and expected delivery date.
